Privacy Policy
This page explains how we use the information you send us through erturkmetal.com.tr, who we share it with, and what rights you have.
This policy applies to everyone who visits erturkmetal.com.tr or contacts us through it. Ertürk Metal is the data controller; our company and contact details are in the box beside this text. Turkish residents can also read our Personal Data Notice under KVKK (Turkish only).
1. What information we collect
Contact form. When you use the form you send us your name, email address, phone number (optional), city/country (optional), subject and message. We only receive what you type.
Phone, WhatsApp and email. If you call us, message us on WhatsApp or write to us, your phone number, email address and the content of your message reach us.
Technical data. When you open the site, our hosting infrastructure keeps standard connection logs (such as IP address, browser type, date and the page requested). We need these to keep the site secure and running; we do not use them to identify you personally.
2. Cookies and tracking
We do not use advertising, profiling or analytics cookies on this website, so there is no cookie banner.
The map on the contact page is not loaded until you click “Open in Maps”. Once you load it, Google’s service runs and Google may set its own cookies; from that point Google’s privacy policy applies. If you follow our WhatsApp or Instagram links, those platforms’ own terms apply.
3. Why we use your data
- To answer your enquiry, prepare a quote and stay in touch
- If you order: production, delivery, installation, warranty and after-sales support
- To meet legal obligations (invoicing, accounting, tax)
- To protect our rights in case of a dispute
- To keep the website secure
We do not add you to marketing lists, sell your data or share it with third parties for advertising. We will only contact you about what you asked for.
4. Who we share it with
We share data only as far as needed to provide our service, with:
- Cloudflare: website hosting, performance and security.
- Resend: delivering the message you send through the contact form to us by email.
- Google Workspace: our business email; emails you send us are stored there.
- Transport and installation partners: if you order, the name, address and phone number needed for delivery.
- Authorities, accountants and legal advisers: where the law requires it, or for accounting.
5. International transfers
These providers may operate servers outside Türkiye and outside the European Economic Area (for example in the EU, the United States or Japan). Your data may therefore be transferred internationally. We make such transfers in line with Article 9 of Turkish Law No. 6698 (KVKK) and, for customers in France and the EU, with the principles of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR/RGPD).
6. How long we keep it
- Enquiries and correspondence only: up to 2 years after your enquiry is concluded.
- Orders, contracts and invoices: for the periods required by law (statutory retention rules for commercial and financial records apply).
- Server connection logs: for the standard periods of our infrastructure provider.
When the period ends we delete, destroy or anonymise the data.
7. Your rights
Under KVKK Article 11 you may ask whether your data is processed, request information, ask for correction or deletion, object to processing, and claim compensation for damage. If you are in the European Union you also have the right of access, portability and restriction of processing under the GDPR, and you may lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (in France, the CNIL).
To exercise your rights, write to [email protected]. We will answer within 30 days at most.
8. Security
The site is served over HTTPS and we protect your data with reasonable technical and organisational measures. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so please do not put sensitive information such as ID numbers, card details or passwords in your messages.
9. Children
This site is not aimed at people under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
10. Changes
We update this policy when needed. The current version is always published here; see the “Last updated” date.
11. Contact
