Railings

Steel, stainless and glass railings for balconies, terraces and stairs.

We make railings to measure for balconies, terraces, staircases and garden boundaries. With painted steel, stainless steel, aluminium and glass options, we combine safety with a clean look that suits the architecture of the building.

Everything is manufactured in our İzmir workshop, with measuring, fabrication and installation handled by one team.

What we do

  • Painted steel, stainless steel and aluminium options
  • Glass-infill, vertical and horizontal bar designs
  • Made to measure, installed by our team
  • Surface treatment and paint suited to outdoor use

Which railing design suits you?

Vertical-bar steel railings are economical, classic and the least climbable option for homes with children. Horizontal bars give a more contemporary line but can be climbed, so they need careful thought in family homes. Glass infill keeps the view open, and wrought-iron styles add character to classic façades.

We help you choose by location, budget and the architecture of the building. Before deciding, browse our gallery of finished work.

Safety dimensions and installation

Railing height, bar spacing and the connection to the structure determine safety. These dimensions vary with the type of building, the project and the regulations in force, so we recommend confirming them with the project documents or the local authority before production.

We measure on site, make the railing in our workshop and install it with our own team. Fixing points, waterproofing and floor finishes are planned from the start.

Surface protection for İzmir’s climate

Humidity and, on the coast, salt are a railing’s biggest enemies. Outdoors we recommend galvanising or a quality primer under electrostatic powder coating, and for coastal sites stronger options such as grade 316 stainless steel.

Frequently asked questions

How high should a balcony railing be?

For homes, about 100 cm and above is common practice; taller values may be required in high-rise or public buildings. The exact figure depends on the project and regulations and should be confirmed before production.

What gap between bars is acceptable?

For child safety, an opening of no more than about 10–11 cm between infill elements is a common criterion. In homes with children, vertical infill or glass is safer.

Which railing material suits homes near the sea?

Galvanised steel with electrostatic powder coating, grade 316 stainless steel or aluminium are safe choices. If painted steel is used, ask in writing which primer and paint system will be applied.
