Glass railings: safety that keeps the view

A glass railing gives terraces, roof floors and interior voids an open look. Toughened and laminated glass is combined with steel or stainless holders.

Glass treads and glass partitions

Glass treads bring lightness and light to a staircase; glass partitions divide a space while keeping it open and bright. Combined with slim-profile steel frames, they can also give a workshop-style look.

Surface treatments (frosted, printed, anti-slip coating) are chosen according to use.

Toughened vs laminated glass

Toughened glass has been heat-treated for higher strength. Laminated glass is made by bonding two or more panes with an interlayer, so the pieces stay attached to the film even if it breaks.

For safety applications such as railings, laminated toughened glass is generally preferred. We determine thickness and fixing details by calculation for each use.
